Description
The Star is the 17th Major Arcana card among all the other 22 Major Arcana cards. On this card, a naked woman is seen sitting near the edge of a small pool or pond, with her right foot in the water, representing her psychic abilities and intuitive powers, while the left foot on the ground, representing her practical thinking and good sense. In her hands, she is holding the two containers of the water, representing her conscious and subconscious mind. She pours the water on the earth’s surface near her, to ensure it’s nourishment and fertility which is evident from the lush green area surrounding her. Behind her, a large star shines (symbol of angels’ blessings and guidance) along with seven other stars which represent the seven chakras. A bird is standing on the branch of a lush green tree which represents the holy ibis of thought (symbol of wisdom, creativity, knowledge, fertility, trust, and communication).
